See the Difference
We’ve partnered with the new not-for-profit video site See The Difference to help us raise awareness (and money too of course) for projects that we undertake.
With See The Difference, you can choose a charity project that means something to you (such as ours!), know exactly where your money goes and then See The Difference you make through feedback that each charity will give on that project.
Tell all your friends, family, colleagues, the person next to you on the bus!

You can help us by donating, but also by telling as many people as you can.
If you do just one thing after reading this, please go and watch our video and then share it (it’s really easy to do through the Facebook Like button, tweeting it on Twitter or even forwarding an email to your friends, family and work mates).
Once we’ve raised the amount we need to achieve the two projects we have chosen, we promise we’ll update everyone on the See The Difference site so you can see just how you helped make a difference.

Quality Assurance, Birtenshaw is in the process of implementing PQASSO
At Birtenshaw we are committed to ensuring that all aspects of our organisation and service provision is of the highest quality. We have chosen to implement PQASSO (Practical Quality Assurance System for Small Organisations) as our quality assurance framework.
PQASSO was designed by the Charities Evaluation Service specifically for third sector organisations, like us, who are motivated by strong values.
Birtenshaw strives to provide the best possible services for children with special needs and other stakeholders - PQASSO will provide a benchmark to enable us to demonstrate that Birtenshaw provides the highest quality services and that our organisation is managed efficiently and effectively.
